CHRIST RETURNS!

As prophesied throughout the Scriptures, Jesus Christ has returned to Jerusalem.

Bible chronology shows that the year 2026AD is the 5995th year since Creation. The date of Christ’s return, as determined by observation of the moon in Jerusalem, is the 10th day of Abib/Nisan, the first month of the Biblical year.

Zechariah 14:7 tells us that this date was determined by God well in advance. Here are some possible reasons:

From the year 5995 there are seven inclusive years until 6001, the first year of Christ's Millennial reign. Jacob's seven years of work to marry Rachel, and Joshua's seven year conquest of Canaan both typify this period.

Christ’s death and resurrection occurred in the first month of the year. He has returned to bring about the first resurrection to salvation, also in the first month of the year. According to the erroneous Hebrew Calendar, we are currently in the second month of the year. However, last year required a 13th month to be added, so we are actually now in the first month of the new year.

In regard to the day, we see that Christ has returned on the 10th day of first month. In the Scriptures, there are three separate instances of typology that point to this date:

1) The Passover lamb, a type of Christ, was chosen and set apart on the 10th day of the first month (Ex 12:3).

2) Joshua, a type of Christ, led the children of Israel across the Jordan River and into the Promised Land, a type of God’s Kingdom, on the 10th day of the first month (Josh 4:19).

3) Jesus Christ made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem as a saviour, riding on a donkey, on the 10th day of the first month (Jn 12). This prefigured His second coming to Jerusalem as a conqueror, riding on a white horse (Rev 19:11,19).
